Description
The Radiologist is responsible for interpreting limited sinus CT scans, documenting appropriately, and communicating findings with the surgical staff and, in some cases, insurance companies to assist with authorizations.
Key Responsibilities

- Interpret limited sinus CT scans and document them in a timely fashion. (Roughly review 5,000 scans per year or 400/per month)
- Collaborate with Aspire providers to discuss imaging results and patient management.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of imaging studies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging techniques and protocols.
- Assist with the licensing and accreditation of CT scanners.
- Maintain patient records and communicate results to patients and medical staff
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in the use of medical imaging equipment and related software.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of a residency in radiology.
- Board certification in radiology.
- State medical licenses to practice as a radiologist.
- Experience in interpreting limited sinus CT scans.
