The Primary responsibility of the Software Engineer III is to analyze, design, develop and test the various functionalities of our .NET web application. The Software Engineer III will work collaboratively with the Software Development Manager to improve product development and design.

The Primary responsibility of the Software Engineer III is to analyze, design, develop and test the various functionalities of our .NET web application. The Software Engineer III will work collaboratively with the Software Development Manager to improve product development and design.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality.
- Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
- System Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems and features, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and sharing knowledge to help them grow.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, designs, and technical decisions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Git, LINQ, and ORM solutions (NHibernate, in particular)
- Healthcare Industry experience
