As Director, Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis (Custom Insights, Loyalty/Incentives), you are responsible for coordinating the Analysis, Budget, Forecast, and Reporting responsibilities for 84.51 supporting our Custom Insights & Loyalty/Incentives business teams. You will partner with business technology, product & engineering, sales, business operations, and various supporting technology platforms to provide strategic guidance to those teams. This role is a key stakeholder in delivering financial business planning that aptly anticipates and minimizes risk while committing and driving value to the business. In this role you will:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with CFO and business leaders to develop long-term strategic objectives and enhanced ROI business plans through the development of long-term investment analysis capabilities and controls.
- Serve as a member on multi-functional leadership teams while demonstrating the ability to collaborate with, influence, and align those teams to value maximizing business plans.
- Implement cost controls & financial processes to build consistent ways of working on investments and value attributions.
- Manage the budget reconciliation process across tactics for 84.51 business units. Ownership of key financial input, tracking, and communication for quarterly planning and optimization targets.
- Communicate monthly/YTD results to business leadership, explaining key variances to date and their potential implications going forward in a timely and actionable manner.
- Provide financial modeling support to assess initiatives geared to both delivering short and long-term results.
- Identify potential cost improvement opportunities for direct input spend and participate as a financial lead in RFP (request for proposal) cycles, including post-mortem analyses.
- Collaborate with Accounting teams to ensure underlying processes and data governance to support the reporting needs of the organization, and that financial transactions are properly accounted for.
- Champion financial process optimization, automation, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Directly manage and coach financial analysts and managers supporting the commercial businesses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - (MBA and/or CPA Preferred)
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant broad financial experience including significant time in a commercial support role
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate complicated financial information and deliver it in a meaningful, simplified way to a broad range of stakeholders
- Independent thinker with ability to offer creative solutions and solve problems
- Broad experience with ERP systems and reporting solutions
- Experience in CPG and/or retail industries is a plus
- Savy with financial systems; experience with technology transformation initiatives is a plus
