About The Role
Thesis is seeking a Chief of Staff to support our Founder & CEO, Dan Freed, in executing his top priorities. In this role, you will act as Dan's right hand, helping him shape his agenda and ensuring he stays on top of those commitments. You will drive projects forward on Dan's behalf and manage timelines, deliverables, and communications.
This is a critical and influential role that will be exposed to virtually everything that goes on in Dan's day-to-day. You will be one of his most trusted confidantes and an integral partner to our executive leadership team.
The ideal candidate for this role is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and brings curiosity and a positive, can-do attitude. You are NYC-based and excited to be in the office working alongside Dan 4-5 days per week.

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and equity. The base salary hiring range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Ensure Dan's world is running smoothly, from time allocation to managing to-do lists and agendas
- Lead special projects for the areas Dan personally oversees
- Serve as a swiss army knife for solving any problem
- Prepare Dan for all key engagements and decisions, and when needed act as his stand-in
- Develop compelling content on Dan's behalf for internal and external consumption (company presentations, external interviews and appearances, key meetings, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Thesis Executive Leadership team to set and achieve priorities and goals
We're Excited About Your:
- 2-5 years of management consulting, corporate strategy or investment banking experience and / or experience at a start-up
- Strong executive presence-you are known for your maturity, poise, and discretion
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Razor-sharp attention to detail, excellent quality work product, and pride of ownership
- Results-driven mentality and strong bias for action
- Comfort with ambiguity, dynamic priorities, and wearing many hats
- Ability to context-shift between high-level strategic thinking and tactical execution
- Passion for nootropics and Thesis's mission
