About the Team

The Material Coordination Team is part of the broader Logistics Team which is responsible for Warehousing, Material Planning & Management and Data Analysis functions. The Team plays a vital role in ensuring the right material is available at the right time to support the production of L400 Boxer CRV vehicles and other RDA products & deliverables.

About the Role

The Material Coordination Team Lead is responsible for coordination and management of inventory by ensuring the materials are properly identified and recorded in SAP-ERP S/4 Hana system. The Material Coordination Team Lead will be developing standards, metrics, scorecards for RDA and work collaboratively with Production team in fulfilling production orders, Procurement team in following backorders and deliveries, Master Data team in preparing master data requirements, Quality team in assisting material inbounds, supporting Warehousing & Logistics team.

Reporting to Inventory Planning Manager you will be responsible for managing materials movements internally and planning the requirements to support business needs. This role is to provide general support to the team whilst taking on the function of SAP MM & EWM subject matters expert.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
  • Preferably 2 years' experience working in as Material Coordination role;
  • Strong ERP systems experience in the area of inventory (SAP advantageous);
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory (analysis, forecasting, master data) in similar roles and/or environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interrogate data;
  • Excellent MS Excel capabilities (Pivot tables, V-lookups as a minimum);
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and highly developed interpersonal skills including ability to have a customer focus; and
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
