The role

Location: UK or US East Coast

We are looking for a driven Global Marketing Operations Program Manager who can work with limited direction across multiple roles and disciplines to bring programs and processes from ideation to implementation to optimization in an efficient manner. In this role you will be reporting to our global head of marketing technology & operations and will directly contribute to the success of marketing at SoftwareOne.

Key responsibilities:
  • Ability to multi-task and provide stakeholder management
  • Effectively manage and resolve risks or issues in a timely manner
  • Manage and assist with prioritization of new project requests and manage backlog
  • Understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements for development team and other 3rd party teams and track requirements to closure
  • Provide accurate, current project status and updates to team and Executives
  • Be the business lead/POC representative into IT teams collaborating to ensure all appropriate business team members are included in requirements, use cases, and customer experience meetings, as necessary
  • Be a trusted partner and consultant to the business owner by recommending best path of execution, timelines and changes to run the operations in a more efficient way
  • Extremely detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills Leverage
  • Campaign management best practices to optimize campaign performance, including techniques like A/B or multivariate testing of emails and landing pages, personalization, and segmentation
  • Troubleshoot data & technical issues related to deployment, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution as required
  • Develop rigorous Quality Assurance and Testing processes to ensure accurate development

What we need to see from you

Your skills:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience administering Marketo
  • 5+ years as Project Manager, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills required
  • Self-motivated with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to extract, document and manage cross functional technical and Marketing team tasks to completion
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of marketing technologies and tools such as
    • Hootsuite, Meltwater, HG Insights, Dynamics, GoTo Webinar, Cvent, Asana, Jira, etc.

Our Global VP of Marketing Technology & Operations, our marketing center of excellence leaders, the extended global marketing team members, and members of our business information technology teams to ensure that SoftwareOne Global Marketing is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. Together we will ideate and put forth solutions that dramatically impact our organization.
