In the beginning of 2023 we launched Global Specialty Insurance (GSI) with the goal to operate as a united specialty insurance organization, to leverage our strengths and capture economies of scale and expertise, deliver underwriting and claims excellence to our clients and customers, and build for the future, by investing in technologies to enhance capabilities, processes and customer service.
Your Job
As a GSI Transformation Manager you drive and support the transformation of GSI from a strategic, conceptual and operational implementation perspective
Drive and support transformation projects at GSI level, covering different areas of the organization and insurance value chain
Monitor and support the development of the Strategic, Operational and Financial Plan for GSI
Develop and participate with the redesign of operating models and organizational structures within the transformation of GSI
Develop and drive expense- and efficiency-management in GSI, including identifying opportunities for synergies
Assist GSI's contribution to overarching group initiatives
Prepare documents for decisions by Senior Management and documents for strategic Board communication
Contribute to a success-oriented, accountable environment within GSI that emphasizes the GSI cultural attributes - inclusive, curious, bold, and collaborative
Your Profile
Profound expertise of strategic and organizational transformation
3+ years of experience working in insurance and/or with an international consultancy firm
Experience in working in large and complex projects as well as facilitation of workshops for top management and the Board of Management
Good understanding of business and organizational models of the insurance industry, preferably Specialty Insurance
Strong analytical and conceptual skills,
Independent working stile with high degree of initiative
Team player
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Very good English skills, additional languages an advantage
The Company is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including NYC. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's NYC location.
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $150,300 to 220,400, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in NYC. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
