Product/Data Analyst, Seattle

What you'll do

• The Product Analyst role at Otter combines data extraction, deep analysis and problem-solving to support our evolving product organization.
• You will be responsible for new product scoping and impact estimation; deep-dive analysis to understand gaps in data quality; develop exploratory data analysis tools; as well as analyzing existing product performance.
• The right person for the role is an expert at SQL, working with multiple complex data sets to develop source of truth metrics; has excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.

What the team focuses on

Otter offers a wide range of software and hardware solutions for restaurants. Some examples include unifying all orders across platforms (Uber Eats, Doordash etc), QR code ordering, POS, Kiosk, printers etc. The wide range of products brings an interesting set of complexity in terms of discovery and set up.

You will be a part of the Otter Engineering team focussed on building products for our internal ops users across sales, onboarding, customer success and external customers as they go through the experience of discovering, purchasing, onboarding and upselling onto different products that Otter has to offer. We are a full stack team of frontend and backend engineers, designers and a PM on a mission to offer the best experience for our customers to discover and onboard onto Otter product suite.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or (or equivalent) in Operations, Business, Process, Math, Statistics or similar
• 5+ years of data analytics experience
• [Bonus] Product analytics experience
• Advanced SQL
• Intermediate Python experience (Data Apps, Data manipulation)
• Advanced Dashboarding & Analytic (Google Data Studio / Google Sheets)
• Basic to intermediate statistic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong product / operational business understanding
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to manage stakeholders across the globe, cross-translating product and operational needs into data deep dives.
• Knowledge of product management principles and practices is a plus
