We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Compensation to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Key resource for company-wide compensation and rewards strategy and philosophy by developing fiscally sound strategies to evaluate trends and provide recommendations for optimization and forecasting.
  • Conduct best practice research and oversee market competitive assessments to ensure that all compensation and rewards remains competitive to attract, retain and motivate employees.
  • Partners closely with the Finance department, especially Budget, to align strategic compensation and rewards actions financial forecasting for capital and operating budgets.
  • Manages development of corporate-wide compensation policies and procedures to related to compensation and reward programs.
  • Ensure all compensation and reward programs are following all Federal, State, and local compensation laws and regulations, and with established guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Contract with external consultants as applicable.
  • Prepares reports, analytics, summaries, and presents findings to senior and executive management, for use in strategic decision making or planning.
  • Oversees partnerships with internal data owners to increase and maintain data integrity and data accuracy
  • Manage, and develop a compensation team of at least 3 FTEs

  • Sr. Compensation Manager
  • Sr. Compensation Analyst
  • Compensation Manager

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. One year of closely related work experience can be substituted for each year of education required.
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience in compensation, and rewards within large multi-dimensional companies.

Preferred:
  • Masters degree.
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Passenger transportation experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strategic thinker with superior business and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering executive, board-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing department and enterprise-level capital and operating budgets.
  • Demonstrated success in repurposing raw data into actionable information.
  • Demonstrated acumen with metrics and/or KPI development, tracking, and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated business process management experience. Experience leading large-scale company-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a partnership environment and cooperatively with a cross-section of stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills - ability to accurately interpret and summarize data into decision-ready management information.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including strong listening and influencing skills. Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, take charge, and driven attitude; demonstrated can do attitude.
  • Experience in vendor negotiation, plan design, and knowledge of current trends.
  • Ability to develop, lead, and grow a high-performing team and effectively work with senior leadership.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel (including expertise with spreadsheets), and strong familiarity with leading HRIS systems.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while still meeting deadlines.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Working Environment:
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from World at Work.
