Systems Engineer Virginia

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineer in order to support its government customer in Chantilly, VA. The United States Government (USG) requires support to directly assist the USG program manager with operational support, database support, collaboration with other operational teams, briefing customers, and development and execution of strategy for complex technical solutions that are widely used and relied upon. The work will be performed within a team environment. The USG needs polished skills in concept development and execution while managing a moderate, fast-paced workload.

Required Skill:

• Demonstrated experience with strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services.
• Demonstrated experience with oversight of IT development teams.
• Demonstrated experience with system administration, database administration, file, and access management functions using Amazon EC2, S3, or similar services.
• Demonstrated experience with practical knowledge of mobile phone hardware, mobile operating systems (Android/iOS), software (commercial, FOSS, and GOTS), and security mechanisms.
• Demonstrated experience automating data processing workflows.
• Demonstrated experience using PowerShell, Python, AutoIt, Windows batch, or Linux shell to develop code, algorithms, models or scripts.
• Demonstrated experience supporting technical operations.
• Demonstrated experience in systems integration.
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering.
• Demonstrated experience understanding emerging technical trends.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical support and training to a broad client base.
