Join Harborview Medical Center for an outstanding leadership opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3), Education Lead for the HMC - Telesitter & Mobility Programs.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The UW Medicine Telesitter Program: Supporting the remote patient monitoring of patients at Harborview Medical Center, and the University of Washington Medical Center Montlake & Northwest campuses.
The UW Medicine Remote Cardiac Telemetry Program: Supporting remote cardiac telemetry at Harborview Medical Center, with the potential for future expansion to include supporting the University of Washington Medical Center Montlake & Northwest campuses as well.
Patient Mobility Specialists: Supporting the growth of a culture of mobility at Harborview Medical Center through the Nurse Mobility Tech program and promoting mobility events under the delegation of nursing of patients throughout in-patient clinical environments.
The ANME makes independent judgments, decisions, and acts regarding a wide range of routine and complex staffing and department workflow issues. The ANME collaborates with appropriate disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission through discharge in support of the medical and nursing plans of care. The ANM performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Program Manager. The ANME provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote:
Delivery of quality nursing care
Effective problem solving and communication
In addition, the ANME provides support to the unit management team for the assurance of clinical workforce competence. Support is provided to all staff any day and any shift as determined by need/demand. Emphasizing patient safety, staff safety, organizational integration, and service excellence the ANME provides leadership and resources that promote the following:
Effective orientation and evaluation of baseline skill level and competencies for assigned workforce.
Efficient and effective educational services and resources, which enable staff to meet patient care needs.
Timely clinical problem solving and communication of clinical issues at all levels (peer, staff, management, multidiscipline health care team).
Timely performance of audits to demonstrate unit staff performance in selected metrics.
Effective interdisciplinary, interdepartmental, and intercampus collaboration and service coordination.
Effective educational resource for patient care.
Effective integration of new technology and organizational initiatives.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of WA
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Two - three years of professional nursing experience, including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor, unit based skills, etc.)
