Senior Financial Systems Analyst, ERP Implementation
Location: 100% remote
Duration: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

Overview: This person will serve as a financial systems bridge for our growing business analytics team, creating programmatic solutions to help ensure business data accurately feeds to the company's data warehouse and ERP. Experience working with standard business workflows (purchases, payables, receivables and resulting data forms) is a plus! This position will be reporting to our Financial Systems team and work closely with field leadership, engineering and corporate accounting functions to design and implement solutions for a functional and efficient data pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead team efforts to adopt and maintain adherence to IT Change Management best practices by championing Change Advisory Board development and initiatives. Develop financial systems' agile change management support model.
• Intake and process financial system project requests. Identify appropriate sub-team resource requirements. Float between financial systems verticals to provide real-time support when resources are limited.
• Assist in the administration, maintenance, and selection of ERP solutions
• Identify trends, correlations, and patterns in data and present findings to stakeholder
• Analyze a wide range of data, and turn that data into action, whether that looks like process improvements, best business practices or other data-backed solutions
• Identify trends, correlations and patterns in data, and present findings to stakeholder.
• Experience in detecting and correcting for erroneous, corrupted, or inaccurate data

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with financial systems, with a focus on system implementation, maintenance, and accounting reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with financial systems software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion).
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• BI tool experience (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
• Working knowledge of financial data: forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, a basic understanding of financial data, financial systems, and general business processes that feed them.
• Experience with financial system implementation projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Adapt quickly, manage competing projects, and challenge the status quo
• Familiarity with data governance and security practices.
• Knowledge and proven experience using an analytical language like Python or R to develop business solutions
• Experience managing or participating in Change Advisory Board communications, approvals, and actions pertaining to financial systems.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or relevant IT certifications.
