- Position Summary
- This senior clinical leadership position is responsible for the provision of effective management and leadership of therapy clinical services, programs, and staff across the agency. Using the theoretical model of Quadruple Aim, the Director of Therapy leads, guides, supports and directs leaders and the clinical team to provide highly reliable, evidence based, patient-family centered, high quality patient care. This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: For physical therapy- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
- License/Certification: Active, unencumbered professional license to practice in the State of Maine licensure. Additional specialty certification or education is highly desirable. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
- Experience: Three to five years of clinical experience; supervisory and home health management experience required.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Record, OASIS, and PPS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong and effective leadership skills.
- Ability to manage in an interdisciplinary team to achieve Agency goals and quality care outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff and coworkers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- This position supervises designated program areas including clinical coordinators, clinical managers, specialty staff as well as clinicians, and/or support staff as assigned.
