Description:

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is hiring a Data Systems Manager. The Data Systems Manager performs data system analysis tasks. It involves collecting, analyzing and integrating essential divisional data/information, as well as making recommendations that require a high level of technical competency. Generates reports in various systems to ensure data compliance as mandated by contractual and performance outcomes. May serve as the division's liaison to the Information Technology Department. Performs systems operations to support computer hardware. Provides technical assistance to users of mainframe computers.

Your role in Action:
  • Serves as the primary divisional generator of data reports from various data/software systems.
  • Tracks and trends in data accuracy, and provides reports to Deputy Director and other designated staff.
  • Provides technical assistance to the division as needed and requested by staff.
  • Serves as the primary divisional liaison with the agency IT Department.
  • Monitors and researches data errors in the various data/software systems.
  • Provides technical training to employees in regard to internal applications and software.
  • Provides the Directors/managers with monthly reports that will support clinical decision making, organizational decision making, indicators for continuing education staff, as well as performance improvement issues.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned, adapts to a changing work environment

What qualifications you will need:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, technology or related field

Experience :
  • Must have two (2) years related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and possess strong analytical skills. Must have working knowledge and experience with computer operating systems and software.
  • Must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills and be a team player with a desire to provide high level of customer service. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and interacts effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook
  • Knowledge of HIPPA Privacy and Security Rules.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate all related computer hardware and software. Solid organizational abilities and attention to detail. Strong problem solving abilities.
