Essential Functions

  • Manage multiple product areas from concept to launch to optimization, ensuring the team's roadmap is aligned with the company vision through clear communication.
  • Set and monitor release goals, prioritization, implementation, and iteration plans for products according to customer value.
  • Lead a team, set individual and team expectations, delegate assignments, manage performance, identify talent needs, and coach and develop team members.
  • Identify issues that prevent products from delivering on time or at the right level of quality, assess alternatives, build a plan for resolution, and either resolve directly or communicate to leadership.
  • Oversee the management of defects, prioritize critical issues, collaborate closely with the development team to implement fixes, and rigorously test solutions to ensure they meet quality standards before release.
  • Identify opportunities to incrementally validate product direction through user feedback collection (surveys), testing (concept, A/B, etc.), analytical tools, and proofs of concept (POCs), driving product optimizations through ongoing experiments.
  • Bring best practices across product managers and orchestrate collaboration across your team and other product management teams to share knowledge and facilitate learning.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including Analytics partners, to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products, ensuring regular review of metrics from experiments, releases, and ongoing performance to track goals.
  • Build solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders, UI/UX, architecture, and technology teams to facilitate product and customer success.
  • Work closely with UI/UX to set the direction for the design of the user experience for products.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish best practices, frameworks, and identify opportunities to improve the product development and delivery process.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to proactively engage with business partners to strategize and design solutions that translate brand ambitions and objectives into digital products.
  • Articulate priorities clearly, partner with execution teams to approve user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria, and provide an understanding of the complexity, level of effort, risk, and opportunity costs.
  • Partner with business and technology sponsors to build successful business cases to fund initiatives.
  • Own the strategic and tactical work associated with designing and delivering products within scope of responsibility and be hands-on.
  • Lead large and often highly complex product launches by working with relevant stakeholders to develop launch plans. Lead post-launch reviews and drive incorporation of feedback in future product releases.
  • Track and report on product metrics, utilizing feedback to drive associated actions and product iteration.
  • Represent the team in business and technical level discussions with stakeholders. Attend business reviews, marketing planning, vendor QBRs to provide critical input and expert insights to inform the development of products.


Job Summary

The Digital Product Team is shaping the future of GoTo Foods by building deep, individual relationships with customers at scale. Our approach leverages extensive customer data, strategic insight, and strong brand knowledge to drive significant growth in both revenue and loyalty through engaging digital experiences.

The Director of Digital Product will oversee the management of our ecommerce platforms (both web and mobile), digital loyalty programs, and omni-channel guest experiences across the GoTo Foods portfolio. This role involves translating broad visions into detailed roadmaps and collaborating with technology and business stakeholders across our brands to develop and enhance digital properties.

The director is tasked with defining the strategy (direction) and overseeing its execution (implementation), while maintaining transparent communication regarding progress within their product areas. They will manage a complex, multi-brand product portfolio, coordinating across multiple product groups to align executive efforts, identify customer needs, and fill strategic gaps. This includes maintaining a prioritized product backlog, shaped by customer value assessments, strategic alignment, and resource capacity.

Work Experience

  • 7 years of experience delivering and optimizing consumer-facing online experiences as a product manager or business strategist, including driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, facilitating design discussions, and competently working with technical teams.
  • Hospitality experience is a plus; experience leveraging technology to solve customer problems is essential.
  • Proven track record of building digital products and coaching other team members.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams and managing stakeholders of different backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Track record of demonstrating curiosity about customers and competitive landscape to help drive continuous improvement.

  • Highly skilled at socializing business opportunities at all levels of the organization through written documentation, compelling presentations, and data-driven opportunity analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex and detailed information in an organized and consumable format.
  • Capable of and comfortable with working closely with Senior executives to develop product strategy and build influential relationships within and across immediate working groups.
  • Keen understanding of the techniques and methods of modern digital product design, development, and delivery.
  • Highly skilled at reading data to analyze the performance of digital features and proudly hands-on with data and technology tools.
  • Strong execution skills, capable of rallying a team behind a vision.
  • Team player who takes accountability and focuses on delivering results with high standards through a robust ability to execute tasks efficiently.
  • In-depth knowledge of product management best practices and abreast of the latest trends.
