Description:
The Director of Imaging Services is accountable and responsible for the development and implementation of business planning for Imaging Services. The functions include the planning, organizing and directing of personnel engaged in providing imaging, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, CT and mammography services designed to treat neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The Director is responsible for the management and direction of administrative and financial activities for areas of responsibility. The Director approves all new programs and/or changes to existing programs, coordinates services with other departments and directs preparation of department records.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Radiological Sciences or Health Care Administration, be registered by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologist, and have a valid Indiana State license to operate designated imaging equipment.
Preferred Education:
Prefer Masters Degree (MS, MBA, MPH, MPA)
Minimum Experience:
Must have five years experience in a related work situation.
Preferred Experience:
Multi-disciplinary experience to include: supervision, performance improvement, budgeting, business/financial management, personnel management, regulatory compliance, planning and program development in profit sector and/or hospital.
Certifications Required:
Current CPR certification.
Certifications Preferred:
CRA
