BASIC FUNCTION
Asa Senior Project Engineer at Rehlko, you will play a crucial role inshaping the future of the company. Based at our Corporate Headquarters, the ManufacturingEngineering team is pivotal in driving Rehlko's growth and transformation. Yourresponsibilities will include designing, guiding, managing, and coordinatingthe implementation of industrial control systems and building managementsystems (BMS) for new and existing Production Test Cells. A primary focus ofthis role is contributing to Rehlko's Digital Transformation/Smart Factoryinitiatives. This involves collaborating closely with teams focused on thefactory floor, making the connection to vital support infrastructure pertainingto the Test Cells and electrical distribution networks. Your tasks willencompass system design, oversight of installations, programming, diagnostics,troubleshooting, project management, and providing training on control andvisualization systems for facilities and utility equipment. Additionally,you'll support Production Maintenance and Plant Engineering when required, augmentingtheir capabilities. The ideal candidate for this position is highlycollaborative, possesses a deep technical and operational understanding, and isdedicated to introducing effective digital tools across the business.
These functions may be on a global scale and international travelto remote locations in developing countries could be required (domestic andinternational travel could be up to 15%). On-site presence is expected perproject and other administrative requirements.

The salary range for this position is $89800 - $114100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.

SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES
- Developdetailed project plans, securing buy-in from stakeholders and effectivelycommunicating complex technical information in an executive-friendly format.
- Design,program, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, including PLCs, robotics,servo controls, vision systems, HMIs, and AC/DC drives.
- Leadproject execution, covering estimation, justification, budget management,scheduling, design, implementation, installation, start-up, troubleshooting,and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Ensuredesigns and specifications meet Rehlko standards and lead communications withvendors and contractors for solution implementation, focusing on safety andrisk mitigation in project planning.
- Assistin the start-up and operation of new equipment and facilities, including SOPsand safety documents.
- Collaboratewith internal teams to translate problems into technical solutions.
- Provide technicalsupport for the development and maintenance of the Kohler, WI campus utilitiesDistributed Control System (DCS)
- Provide support toproduction engineering teams, including occasional emergency and off-hourtechnical support.
Skills/Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A BS degreein Electrical/Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABETaccredited institution and 4+ years of experience in factory automation and/orindustrial controls. Degreeand experience requirements may be altered for the ideal candidate at the solediscretion of the hiring manager.
- Exceptionalwritten and oral communication skills are essential, with an ability to distillcomplex technical information into clear, understandable formats fordecision-makers.
- In-depthknowledge of industry standards related to system safety and design. Specialized safety certificationshighly desired(e.g., SAF-TV).
- Experiencewith Rockwell Automation controls platforms, BMS, HVAC controls, and theIgnition platform by Inductive Automation.
- Competencyin Microsoft Office, with SAP and AutoCAD Electrical as a plus.
- Experiencewith higher-level programming languages (C#, C++, Java, Python, Visual Basic)is beneficial.
- Mustbe able to perform physical activities such as climbing ladders and lightlifting.
- AProfessional Engineering license is preferred.
