Description:

TheUniversity of Illinois Chicago, Department of Medicine is actively recruiting aclinically oriented hepatologist at the level of Assistant Professor orAssociate Professor (rank commensurate with qualifications) to grow our livercenter and transplant program. MD degree (or equivalent) and experience inclinical hepatology is required. Experience in transplant hepatology or aseparate fellowship for transplant is considered a major plus. Management ofend stage liver disease, viral hepatitis and liver cancer constitutes a majorpart of our inpatient and outpatient practice. UIC is a large liver transplantcenter and is looking to expand its outreach substantially. Academic productivityis expected and candidates with an interest in scholarly activity areencouraged to join our established program. Qualifications:

-MD or DO degree
-Board Certified or Board Eligible inGastroenterology
