SUMMARY:
Karman Space & Defense is currently seeking a talented and experienced engineer to join our team at our Wilsonville, OR facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing machining processes and programming CNC mills and mill-turn machines to produce aerospace components with the highest levels of precision and efficiency. We are seeking an experienced AS9100/AS13100 Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and managing customer-related quality communication.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $110,000 - $120,000 | Depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the AS9100/AS13100 Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with all AS9100/AS13100 standards and regulations.
- Lead internal audits and manage third-party AS9100/AS13100 audits.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality standards, issues, and improvements.
- Develop and implement quality improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are met across all operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100/AS13100 standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
