Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
The corporate development and growth department plays a vital role in shaping the future of Ballad Health by leading the organization's business development strategy. The Corporate Development and Growth Manager is an integral part of the team, working on strategic assignments involving strategic growth opportunities accretive to the cash flow and balance sheet of Ballad Health. The position will be the primary support role through strategy development and business planning, research and analytics, and project management.
  • Lead in-depth industry research to identify market trends and competitive analysis related to emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversight of corporate development and growth portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives including achievement of specific goals and objectives within specified deadlines and timeframes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial and strategic impact of potential opportunities.
  • Aid in the development of a growth strategy to include identification of opportunities which are aligned with the organization's mission, goals, and objectives.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree or above required in healthcare administration, business administration, or related healthcare field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in one or more areas of healthcare strategy, merger & acquisition consulting, investment banking, private equity or extensive knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. PMP certification preferred.
  • Strategic mindset with focus analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
