Fanatics Collectibles is integrating with Fanatics' global digital sports platform - which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.
Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Relic Operations Manager to oversee the team, plan & allocate workload, drive improvement across Relic Ops processes, and ensure quality and process compliance. The Relic Ops Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager, Product Ops and, with their direct reports, is expected to 1) fully own the end-to-end process of receiving, inventorying, shipping, manufacturing, and processing full memorabilia items and cut relic pieces and 2) help identify & execute new systems, technologies, and processes to optimize relic operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, and a clear team-first mindset. Within the next 6 months, you will:
- Learn the ins & outs of the Relic Ops function including assessment, inventory, shipping, manufacturing, and delivery assurance & how they interact with all parts of the business
- Build relationships and collaborate with the Athlete Relations, Product Development, BOM, Project Management, Manufacturing and Art/Design teams to prioritize & problem solve
- Construct daily/weekly/monthly & product-level reports to accurately assess team productivity & progress, and manage/schedule resources across the department
- Ensure on-time delivery & high quality of all relics pieces that make it into our product
- Coordinate accounting activities related to yearly/monthly/daily inventory transactions, and any cycle counts or physical counts for inventory/audit purposes.
- Help drive innovation with new inventory/production methods and help transition the department into an automated system of inventory/production.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Dallas / Sunnyvale, TX based (or willingness to relocate)
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle / ERP systems is preferred
- Strong working knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PPT)
- Experience with data analysis / visualization tools is a plus (Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- 6-8 years of experience, with a preference for Manufacturing / Operations-focused roles
- Bachelor's degree required and business, sports management, or manufacturing preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience managing complex and dynamic teams
- Strong analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills
