We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Reinsurance Claims Analyst to join our Corporate Reinsurance & Reserving team in our Plymouth, MN office. This role is responsible for timely and accurate identification, analysis, reporting/billing and collection of ceded reinsurance claims for the US business.

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Reinsurance Claims Analyst to join our Corporate Reinsurance & Reserving team in our Plymouth, MN office. This role is responsible for timely and accurate identification, analysis, reporting/billing and collection of ceded reinsurance claims for the US business.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors management reports, loss advisory notices, claim information and ceded reinsurance contracts to identify reinsurance recoverables.
- Works closely with brokers and claims analysts to promptly respond to inquiries from reinsurance partners.
- Partners with finance team to ensure accurate recoverables are booked in the finance system.
- Maintains databases of all reported claims to ensure timely updates are provided to broker/reinsurance partners.
- Supports the reinsurance placement process by providing updated claims information.
- Contributes to the implementation of global reinsurance best practices.
- Coordinates reinsurance audits with internal business units, brokers & reinsurers.
- Management of Insurance claims in the US
- Possesses strong procedural and/or technical knowledge that has been developed through considerable experience and is capable of analyzing complex issues.
- Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel
- Outstanding communication skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Results oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Must have the ability to interact with reinsurance brokers/cedants/reinsurers.
- Must maintain a high level of accuracy and provide follow-through on projects.
- Requires the ability to maintain confidential information and work independently.
- Bachelor's degree with demonstrated insurance/reinsurance or technical experience required.
- 5+ years of experience handling large direct claims and/or reinsurance claims.
