About the Position
The K-12 Student Learning Director position provides leadership, direction, and follow-through in the planning of K-12 programs to improve student learning. Supervises a variety of instructional and professional learning programs including the Highly Capable Program and the Beginning Educators Support Team.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in educational leadership in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
  • Significant experience working successfully with culturally and linguistically diverse students and their families, or otherwise have demonstrated the ability to strengthen engagement and communication with a diverse population.
  • Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible experience in curriculum and instruction, school leadership, professional development, and/or program management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bi-lingual/multilingual preferred.
  • Building-level administrative experience.

    Salary: 2024-25 Manager Salary Schedule: Level V - Program Director $197,537 to $201,567 depending on education

    * Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year (Health, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability, Life and AD+D Insurance, and options for HSA, FSA, and DCAP). Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by employees who work at least 3.5 hours per day in a continuing position.
