Position Summary:

Work closely with underwriting and implementation on the account management and renewal of all

AlphaStaff Master Clients. This position interacts with the assigned book of business, the carriers,

AlphaStaff Underwriting Team, and the Benefit Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

Master New Business:
  • Scrubs the CPQ data for the RFP submission to our Master vendors.
  • Updates the CPQ.
  • Submits the RFP to carriers for ratings.
  • Runs the proposals in the proposal tool once the rating is received.
  • Submits the medical proposals to include the supplemental and GAP comparisons to the clients.
  • Joins the Sales team for new business presentations.
  • Requests the BCM for sold deals.
  • Audits cost masters
  • Audits the portals.
  • Creates the PPT/Benefits Guides.
  • Conducts the open enrollment meetings as the assigned A/E

Master Renewal Business:
  • Joins and participates in carrier pre-renewal calls.
  • Create renewal folders in the P/Drive 90 days pre renewal.
  • Runs the renewals in the proposal tool.
  • Submits the renewal proposals to include the supplemental and GAP comparisons to the clients.
  • Joins the HRAM's with renewal discussions.
  • Requests the BCMs.
  • Audits portals
  • Creates the PPT/Benefits Guides.
  • Conducts the open enrollment meetings as the assigned A/E.
  • MetLife NY Disability:
  • Submits the request to add clients to the DBL policy.
  • Maintains the spreadsheet with updated client information.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Maintains the updated marketing materials for the Masters.
  • Acts as the go-between for the Ben Admin customer-related questions for the Master clients.
  • Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Candidates should have an active 215 insurance license.
  • Some knowledge of underwriting with 3+ years of carrier, agency, or PEO experience.
  • Knowledge of alternate funding strategies.
  • Good communication and Customer service skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Some experience with Salesforce.
  • Good follow up skills, detail oriented and relationship driven.
  • Customer Service oriented.
