General Physical Requirements:
Combination of office and production floor environment (no specific ratio) with light to moderate physical work - required to exert up to 30 lbs. of force periodically, up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally.
Office work is generally sedentary in nature. Office environment physical demands include: being seated at
desk for extended periods while talking on the telephone or working on a computer; walking, standing,
occasional lifting and carrying (up to 15 lbs.); frequent near vision for reading and computer work; repetitive
use of hands, fingers, wrists for keyboard and other business machine usage; occasional stressful
conditions.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science Degree, Mechanical Engineering or related.
- A capacity for critical thinking and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to comprehend, analyze, and execute on schedule.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in product development, design, or related.
- Competency with 3D CAD design using standardized GD&T principles.
Qualifications That Will Set You Apart
- 3+ years experience in automotive, heavy trucks, or related engineering.
- Experience in drive train, Power train, Cab Interior (ergonomics, Dash layout, HVAC)
- Experience with FEA simulations.
- Sheet metal design experience.
- Experience with automated or metadata-driven modeling (e.g., DriveWorks or Autodesk iLogic).
- Hands-on experience with automotive or heavy truck components.
- 2+ year's experience using Solidworks(large assembly.
