The Electronic Systems (ES) Sector Finance team helps position the business to deliver on its commitments, provides early insight into business performance, and aspires to deliver effective data analytics that enable sound business decisions.   • This individual will be a team leader, possessing an inherent inquisitiveness in financial planning and modeling.
  • Focus on creating business plans, developing financial forecast, and driving business results that meet or exceed ES' commitment to the enterprise.
  • Dependably provide the controls, business forecasts and analytics on a number of business parameters - orders, revenue, profit and cash, along with measures that maximize shareholder return.
  • She/he will lead or support multiple phases of the business planning process, including reviews with the Sector Finance Director, VP of Finance, VP of Strategy and Sector President.
  • Reports to the ES Sector Finance Director, and will partner and collaborate with all finance teams and business unit FP&A leads in executing responsibilities.
  • Successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, have an inquisitive nature and provide relevant financial and business insights to leadership.
This role can be performed in a full-time remote capacity. While the position is full-time remote, the FP&A leader will regularly host face-to-face meetings, focusing on team building, strategic planning and tools development.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related business oriented degree.
  • 10+ years of professional work experience in corporate finance.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Advanced degree in business, finance and/or data analytics
  • Ideally, this individual would have finance experience in aerospace & defense, although this is not a must-have. We are willing to consider those with a more broad corporate finance background in FP&A.
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning module/application would be deeply beneficial in this role.
