The Behavioral Wellness Center, located in the heart of North Central Philadelphia, is a long-standing behavioral health facility that serves a diverse, under-served patient population. We offer a comprehensive continuum of care in addictive services, from detoxification services, residential care, outpatient services, and acute and sub-acute psychiatric services. Our mission is to provide quality health care, treatment, prevention and education in our facilities and in the community.
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team.
The CFO will provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization and be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring financial stability and growth.
Duties:
- Develop and implement financial strategies in line with company goals
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to senior management
- Manage corporate accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and other financial regulations
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee mergers and acquisitions activities
- Supervise payroll, revenue management, and profit-loss analysis
- Drive strategic planning initiatives to enhance profitability
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Ten years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of at least 50 staff persons
- Strong background in financial analysis and corporate accounting
- Proficiency in financial concepts
- Experience in financial planning and revenue management
- Knowledge of "not-for-profit" accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, OMB Circulars A-133, A-110 and A-122.
- Knowledge of general office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strategic planning abilities to drive business growth
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master's degree preferred.
