Process & Facility Improvement Manager

F. Schumacher & Co., America's leading name for home and interior design - for fabric, wallcovering, and rugs - is seeking a Process & Facility Improvement Manager with experience in operations, system improvements and project management.

The successful candidate will be exposed to and assist with all operations, and system management at our Distribution Center. The position will work cross-functionally with all Schumacher departments including, but not limited to, tech, customer service, sales, and hospitality to review and improve our current process flow and be able to present and implement improved processes to enhance efficiency. This Fort Mill -based detail-oriented, motivated, hardworking Process & Facility Improvement Manager will support our Operations Team with efforts to develop processes leading to growth in capacity and efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to experience new projects, improve processes, and gain exposure to a variety of departments within the company!

YOU WILL:
  • Drive the project tasks including data entry, information gathering, testing, and data analysis
  • Collaborate with various teams (Distribution Center, Product/Tech Team, Merchandising, etc..) to analyze and improve workflows and processes.
  • Gather and document requirements around Distribution Center project tasks and implementations
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Represent the Hub Operations team as the point of contact to ensure alignment of resources with other project directors
  • Gather, document, maintain and project statuses keeping the teams on target for implementation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Take ownership of areas of process improvements.
  • Help ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, and within scope
  • Gain insight into day-to-day operations of various departments at our Fort Mill Distribution Center.


YOU HAVE/ARE:
  • 3 to 5 years' experience with process flow within a supply chain or warehouse/shipping DC
  • Be a future state/innovative thinker
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
  • Polished personal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
  • A self-motivated, proactive, fearless, and positive attitude
  • An interest in Finance and Operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Quick comprehension of online software and tools
  • Bachelors' in Business or Related Major
  • Experience with SQL a plus
