Join Our Team as a Director of Conferences and Learning Events!
LOCATION: This position is onsite, office-based in Atlanta, GA, following a hybrid model with 3 days remote and 2 days in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday).

We are seeking a Director of Conferences and Learning Events to join our team and lead the charge in transforming ideas into incredible memories. Under the guidance of the Senior Director, Strategy, Alignment, and Communications, and in partnership with other senior leaders, you'll be at the forefront of planning, executing, and evaluating a diverse array of events-from intimate gatherings to grand national conferences, both virtually and in person.
As the Director of Conferences and Learning Events, you'll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable moments that leave lasting impressions. Your leadership will inspire a talented team of Event Managers, empowering them to deliver top-tier professional internal and external meetings, state, regional, and national conferences, and special events that captivate and engage.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Create Memories That Last: Lead the charge in crafting best in class attendee experiences by organizing, mobilizing, and coordinating staff, participants, and stakeholders for flawless execution.
Innovate & Inspire: Embrace continuous quality improvement by staying ahead of industry trends, integrating best practices, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to elevate our event management processes.
Measure and Analyze: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics to measure event success and gather actionable insights. Use data-driven decision-making to continuously improve event experiences and achieve organizational goals.
Strategize & Optimize: Utilize project management expertise to lead annual operational planning for major events, ensuring alignment and efficiency across departments. Collaborate with event owners, leadership, and your team to achieve desired results.
Financial Leadership: Demonstrate financial acumen by leading budget development, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial reconciliation.
Mentor & Develop: Oversee the development and coaching of Event Managers, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
Negotiate & Collaborate: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish event goals and objectives, ensuring financial goals, (securing competitive contracts and pricing), are met and customer expectations exceeded.

Who You Are:
- A Creative Visionary: You hold a Bachelor's degree or have 5-8 years of related experience, demonstrating a flair for innovative event design.
- A Seasoned Leader: With 5+ years in event and operations management and an active CMP designation, you bring expertise and confidence to the table.
- An Inspiring Mentor: You have 5+ years of supervisory experience, capable of nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
