Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements capital projects and capital projects portfolio management.
  • Directs activities of plant engineering staff to support capital, manufacturing, productivity and quality programs. Cost, Customer focus and flexibility in mind.
  • Manages the Automation and Controls function
  • Manages the Facilities, Construction, General Maintenance and HVAC groups.
  • Responsible for capital CER/SERs, budgeting, and outside contractors.
  • Together with the Site Infrastructure Manager, the Site Engineering and Maintenance Infrastructure Manager has the task of ensuring the provision of maintenance, engineering and infrastructure services for our production units.
  • Works closely with various functions including GTP's Environmental and Safety Department to ensure operations are in compliance and regulatory requirements with public authorities, government agencies and local residents.
  • Sets and assures company standards are met with respect to Engineering, Automation, facilities, workmanship and materials and equipment selection


Requirements Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred) and relevant maintenance/facilities management experience.
  • Extensive professional experience in a technology-driven, heterogeneous industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a role such as that described above.
  • Combinations of strong social skills with an assertive personality and have considerable experience in managing highly qualified engineers and experts from different disciplines.
  • Experience in planning and implementing large-scale investment projects and will be capable of coordinating complex, enterprise-wide processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:
  • Management of all facets associated with capital projects. Energy, budgeting, system reliability, projects, personnel scheduling, future state planning.
  • Written & verbal communication with all groups associated with 24/7 utility operations. Production, Maintenance, Purchasing, Plant Services, Construction, R&D Analytical, Safety, Environmental.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, DEP, and DOT regulations. Highly Hazardous materials, Process Management Programs (PMPs), water & air quality.
  • Plant Engineering: Valve & pump selection, line & equipment sizing, material compatibility, stoichiometry
