Responsibilities
Michael's House Treatment Center is currently seeking a full time Controller. The Controller is responsible for the assistance in completion of month end, cost reports, budgets, ad hoc reporting and analysis, governmental and other miscellaneous reports. This position will interact with assigned facility CEOs and CFOs; facility Business Office Managers, corporate personnel and government agencies to ensure completion of month-end closing as well as balance sheet account reconciliations.
This position is located at UHS facility, Michael's House, in Palm Springs, California.

Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages the month-end and quarterly processes for the facility. Ensure accuracy and
timeliness of all required reports and accounting data to meet applicable financial deadline.
Assist with establishing facility/department budgets and allocation of funds, with
recommendation from department management.
Manage and monitor aspects of the facility budget on a yearly, monthly, and daily basis as required.
Prepares and analyzes key figures, proforma, cost and ad hoc reports. Assists facilities
In development and maintenance of the APC/DOI reports and completion of State and Federal reports. Evaluates the risks and opportunities and proactively communicates them to assigned facilities.
Education and Experience
A minimum of five (5) years experience in a health care business development management position with extensive business development experience resulting in measurable results, preferred direct experience developing managed care agreements with knowledge in the areas of capitation and at-risk.
