Sr. Demand Analyst

Position Overview

K18 is seeking a Sr. Demand Analyst. This is a newly created role and will be part of the Supply Chain and Operations team, reporting to the Director of Planning. The Sr Demand Analyst will be responsible for managing SKU-level demand forecasting and implementing S&OE process.

This role is highly detail-oriented in nature, and the ideal candidate must be able to work and communicate effectively with various cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing and Finance. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to navigate in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement S&OE tactical process which supports monthly S&OP
  • Provide SKU-level demand forecasts by sales channel with 3-to-6-month horizon
  • Track sales and committed orders on a weekly basis
  • Monitor inventory run-out dates, and communicate any risks to management and Sales teams
  • Reconcile shipped actuals vs. demand forecasts by SKU and by sales channel monthly
• Own weekly meetings with sales channel heads to update demand forecasts, and escalate any major variances from prior periods
• Act as liaison to sales teams for new products and promotions - manage forecasts, shipping availability, sell-through performance and any excess/obsolete inventory
• Proactively identify and communicate any issues around demand and supply to stakeholders including Sales and Procurement
• Provide weekly and monthly sell-through recaps for key accounts (e.g. Sephora)
• Collaborate with Director of Planning on key stakeholder findings and action items weekly
• Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed to support current product performance and future forecasting accuracy

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related discipline
• 3-4 years of work experience in Demand Planning in beauty or personal care consumer packaged goods industry
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and must be comfortable working with large data sets
• Experienced with ERP/MRP systems (Sage, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud Planning)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and comfortable with a certain level of ambiguity
• Flexible self-starter who will thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with Supply Chain and cross-functional team members

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
