Position Summary
This position will have responsibility for overseeing the administrative, operational and instructional functions associated with the Teacher Residency program based in San Franciso. The Residency Associate Director will (1) coach resident teachers using the NYU Learning to Teach Framework and other resources (2) build partnerships with current and new school partners (3) manage district relationships (4) coach and mentor school sites to embed the residency on-site, (5) oversee certification-related modules in the online teacher residency curriculum, (6) support with recruitment events, and (7) support with special projects that support the success of the National Residency.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in education or related area
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree strongly preferred or doctorate in education or related field
Required Experience:
5+ years in urban settings and experience supporting novice teachers; experience working in school leadership roles, instructional coaching, project and relationship management and partnership development.
Preferred Experience:
School Leadership and Coaching
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to consult with a diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of google suite and comfort with using instructional technology.

Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00 to USD $105,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
