Seeking a Communications Professional responsible for coordinating the internal and external communications needs of one of Pennsylvania's highest performing public school districts.
The Communications Professional will provide strategic communications support to the office of the Superintendent and provide assistance to district staff and administration, oversee community education programs, manage volunteer clearances system, and special events.
This is a fulltime, 12-month position for Methacton School District located in Montgomery County (a suburb of Philadelphia) and will be a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet. The coordinator will lead a department of 3 and will act as spokesperson for the school district and shall support the mission, vision, and core values of the district through focus on items within the strategic plan.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field; Five (5) years work experience in communications, public relations, or related field; work experience within a not for profit or education entity.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership, problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to lead and direct.
Salary range: $87,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package.
