Enterprise Architect: Supply Chain - Erlanger, KY
This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Enterprise Architect for Supply Chain to join our team. This role is critical in liaising with key business, technology and our partner ecosystem in architecting, designing and developing our Global supply chain systems architecture to ensure alignment with our overall business strategy. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes and technologies, with a proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architectural Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement an enterprise architecture strategy for supply chain systems that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Create and maintain a roadmap for supply chain systems, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and sustainability.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, with a focus on Transportation Management and Supply Chain, and utilize this knowledge to educate both business and global technology leaders on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drives business outcomes
    • Play a lead role in software selection and vendor selections for strategic business capabilities across Global Supply Chain
  • System Design & Integration:
    • Oversee the design of comprehensive supply chain solutions that integrate seamlessly with both SAP S/4 and legacy systems and processes where applicable.
    • Oversee the integration of supply chain applications with ERP, WMS, TMS, and other enterprise systems.
    • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security across all supply chain platforms.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand and address supply chain needs.
    • Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on supply chain best practices and architectural solutions.
    • Conduct regular reviews and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the supply chain domain.
    • Drive the continuous improvement of supply chain systems and processes to enhance overall performance.
  • Vendor and Licensing Management:
    • Manage relationships with supply chain technology vendors, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
    • Oversee the procurement, licensing, and renewal processes for supply chain software and tools.
    • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and manage software asset inventories.
  • Project Management:
    • Partner with the Solution Delivery organization to lead and manage enterprise-level supply chain projects from inception through completion.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Job Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Business)
    • 10+ years experience in strategy, planning, architecture, and technology functions in Global Supply Chain
    • Ability to serve as a trusted member of the Global Enterprise Architecture (EA) team and effectively communicate strategic and technology-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical management and staff, including senior business leadership
    • Expert knowledge in end-to-end, Supply Chain Management, and working knowledge of Plan to Deliver processes
    • At least 2+ end-to-end implementations of Tier-1 Advanced Planning solutions
    • Ability to sell, influence, and build consensus at all levels of the company including senior leadership at the corporate and division level
    • Knowledge of Agriculture/Commodities business and/or Nutrition Industry(s) is preferred
    • TOGAF certification is preferred
    • Well versed in Enterprise Architecture process, design, documentation, and deployment techniques
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills combined with the ability to work with all levels of the business and IT
    • Experience working in waterfall and agile environments
    • Deep understanding of modern digital technologies, methodologies, and capabilities
    • Strong understanding of Data requirements and KPI's
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
