Role Overview:
As Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining strategies to ensure that our products consistently meet customer demand. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a multi-site team, align manufacturing with quality assurance objectives, and drive Lean-Sigma initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities of the Position
Travel Requirement
This role will require regular travel to our four production sites in Tallassee, AL; Reno, NV; Weatherford, TX; and Wheeling, WV. Approximately 20% of your time will be dedicated to traveling to these sites, allowing you to build strong relationships with on-site teams, provide hands-on support, and facilitate cross-site collaboration.

Responsibilities of the Position
- Coach production supervisors across multiple sites to create work environments that are safe and demonstrate our values of integrity, respect, and excellence.
- Work in a cross-functional team environment with production planning, safety, quality, engineering, and other stakeholders to achieve facility objectives.
- Connect and build relationships with operations employees and maintain an open-door policy.
- Determine daily staffing changes to meet production goals.
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership of areas of responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Leverage delegation skills to manage a wide range of priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or other related major, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a manager
- Knows best practices and procedures for managing manufacturing facilities.
- Requires excellent leadership and team building skills.
- Knowledgeable about fiscal control, budget forecasting, standardized metrics and achievement in performance to plan.
- Excellent decision making and creative problem solving skills.
- A steady performer under pressure.
- Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Requires expertise in customer service.
- Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires strong knowledge of and commitment to Continuous Improvement.
Top candidates will also have:
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience leveraging lean and/or Six-Sigma tools.
- Demonstrated success in change implementation.
