This Director, Life Support Program will be responsible for:
- Develops and implements programs for the Department of Patient Services which are congruent with the philosophy and goals of the department and the mission and values of Children's Hospital.
- Provides visionary leadership to individuals and interdisciplinary teams, which ultimately serve to advantage patients and families.
- Collaborates with senior leadership, management, and physician colleagues to achieve programmatic goals.
- The role requires the synthesis of expert clinical/management knowledge and practice responsibility to remain current in the disciplines of nursing and management.
To qualify, you must have:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in patient care, administration and teaching
- Master's Degree
- Basic Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor and AHA Training Center Faculty
- Current licensure in health science field (Nursing, Paramedic)
