In the Norfolk, Virginia area, a renowned surgical group is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their highly skilled and dedicated team. This opportunity is ideal for a CRNA looking for a challenging and varied work environment, as it offers a diverse caseload that includes general surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, GI (Gastrointestinal), dental, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and plastic surgery.
This role comes with a competitive salary of $210,000 and an attractive benefits package. The key responsibilities of the CRNA in this position include administering anesthesia for various surgical procedures and closely monitoring patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort. Collaboration is essential in this role, as the CRNA will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to plan and implement effective anesthesia care plans. Additionally, the CRNA will provide post-operative care, manage patient recovery from anesthesia, maintain accurate anesthesia records, and adhere to established guidelines and protocols.
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a current Virginia license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be certified as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). While pediatric experience is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.
