We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team to support our elementary schools in the district.
JOB GOAL: Provide and support implementation of ethical behavior analytic practices and procedures to promote access to academic and social growth in the educational setting.
- Monitor and support the intervention process for individual students.
- Coordinate the team process for implementation, data review, adjusting plans, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and facilitate discussion about the need for MTSS-B Tier 1 to Tier 2 transition.
- Model positive behavior management strategies with classroom teachers.
- Provide coaching to professional and paraprofessional staff to build staff behavior management toolbox.
- Collaborate with stakeholders of the student to determine individual needs and achievable goals
- Assist and collaborate with intervention teams for developing behaviors supports and strategies
- Conduct assessments and report findings (FBA, Observation, Skill Acquisition, etc.)
- Develop behavioral supports (plans/procedures/interventions/data collection) in line with BACB codes of practice and ethical conduct
- Develop and provide training to support the correct use of behavior analytic practices, and to promote growth for students in the areas of academic and social growth in the educational setting
- Collect, monitor and maintain data systems to determine skill growth or need for additional supports
- If approved by the BACB, provide and maintain supervision standards (as outlined by the BACB) for other's working in the field of behavior analysis including those pursuing BCBA, BCaBA, or RBT certifications
- Participate in ongoing professional development (as outlined by the BACB) to maintain certification requirements, and to improve the quality of services provided to the Salem School District Community
