Job Overview:
The Sr. Director of Integrated Services, under the supervision of and in consultation with the Clinical Administrator, provides leadership and oversight, developing and implementing goals and objectives of all Behavioral Healthcare programs, as well as the interaction of same with all services offered at Eva's Village, Inc. The Sr. Director of Integrated Services provides guidance and implementation of all trainings for professional and para-professional staff under the umbrella of the Behavioral Healthcare programs. The Sr. Director of Integrated Services acts as collaborator to the Clinical Administrator regarding integrated health services. Duties and Responsibilities:
10:161A-1.8 Qualifications and responsibilities of Sr. Director of Integrated Services
Developing and maintaining written objectives, policies and procedures, an organizational plan and a quality assurance program for substance abuse counseling services that are reviewed by the administrator;
Ensuring that the behavioral and pharmacologic approaches to treatment are evidence-based or based on universally accepted information to provide treatment services consistent with recognized treatment principles and practices for each level of care and type of client served by the facility;
Providing or ensuring, and documenting, that direct clinical supervision is provided at least one hour per week to all clinical staff, individually or in a group setting, with group supervision not to exceed 50 percent of supervision time, as well as any clinical supervision requirements under N.J.A.C. 13:34C;
Ensuring that substance abuse counseling services are provided as specified in the client treatment plan and coordinated with other client care services, if applicable, in order to provide continuity of care;
Ensuring that the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients with co-occurring disorders is provided by appropriately trained and qualified clinical staff and that the clinical supervision of such staff is provided;
Assisting in developing and maintaining written job descriptions for substance abuse counseling personnel and assigning duties;
Assessing and participating in staff education activities and providing consultation to facility personnel;
Providing orientation to and evaluation of new counseling staff prior to assigning them counseling responsibilities; N.J.A.C. 10:161A-1.8
Ensuring that all counseling staff are properly licensed or credentialed in accordance with this chapter;
Participating in the identification of quality care indicators and outcome objectives and the collection and review of data to monitor staff and program performance;
Participating in planning and budgeting for the provision of substance a counseling services; and
Ensuring that clinical staff, including counselor-interns, are supervised by the appropriately credentialed staff.
Ensuring that admission interviews with clients are conducted in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
Evaluates clinical, efficiency, fiscal, productivity and quality outcomes of the programs, and designs and implements quality and other improvement activities.
As an integral member of the administrative and senior team, plays a key role in the overall development, vision, strategic planning, service delivery, and management of the organization.
Provides senior administrative and clinical leadership to program directors, clinical supervisors, program coordinators and managers to support and develop the provision of services offered at Eva's Village, Inc.
Other responsibilities and duties to include collaboration with the Clinical Administrator
Collaborate on the operational/management oversight of the behavioral health licensed programs and related administrative services.
Collaborate on the development, implementation and enforcement of all policies and procedures including client rights.
Establishing and maintaining liaison relationships and communication with facility staff, service providers, support service providers, community resources and clients.
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures, with designated staff members, for the various services.
Implementing and monitoring the quality of all services provided at the facility, including the review of program outcomes available through NJSAMS.
Developing and implementing client safety policies and procedures that include, but are not limited to, forbidding staff to engage in client coercion, sexual harassment, and sexual relationships with clients; and
Collaborates with Clinical Administrator regarding grants, DMHAS contracts, county and federal contracts, and other opportunities for funding integrated healthcare programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's (MA or MSW)
- New Jersey Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) dual license preferred.
- Mental Health License (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) or Advance Clinical Supervisor (ACS)
- Minimum 2-5 years of full-time administrative or supervisory experience in an SUD Treatment facility. The person in this position must have conceptual and program development skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities and demonstrated human relations/team building experience and skill.
- Must be well versed in clinical treatment, specifically substance abuse and medication assisted treatment.
- Thorough knowledge of 12-Step Program, AA, NA, and the bio-psycho-social model of substance abuse/dependence.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Must be able to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor and perform duties effectively in stressful/emergency situations.
- Must be able to maintain objectivity and deal diplomatically with clients and family members.
