The DarkStar Group is seeking a Business Process Manager with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Fairfax, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program.

THE PROGRAM

The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. THE PROJECT
  • The Sponsor provides global telecommunications services for worldwide locations with varying levels of service requirements due to diverse missions, environments, and available resources. The Sponsor requires support specializing in application/tool development, and IT services, operations, and business process implementation and visual analytics to support the Sponsors overall IT business and operations. The Sponsor needs contract labor with expertise in ServiceNow and business process analysis to support this requirement. As part of a larger effort, the Sponsor adopted ServiceNow over the past few years and developed several business capabilities on this platform with a mix of custom applications and global applications.
  • Global Infrastructure Business System (GIBS) is the Sponsor's custom tenant application space on the enterprise ServiceNow platform. GIBS supports the Sponsor's network change pre-coordination governance, and other technology and business management needs that fall outside the scope of existing enterprise offerings. The Sponsor is establishing a non-enterprise ServiceNow instance to support its customer service interactions with a subset of its mission partner base.

THE ROLE
  • Evaluate the Sponsor's business process needs related to the Sponsors custom application suite and platforms.
  • Recommend and design new, or update existing, business processes related to the Sponsors custom application suite and platforms.
  • Interpret complex data for key Sponsor stakeholders.
  • Document and publish business process models related to the Sponsors custom application suite and platforms.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement process changes in ServiceNow.
  • Identify business requirements and track those requirements through the development lifecycle related to the Sponsors custom application suite and platforms.
  • Refine and recommend metrics to optimize business operations related to the Sponsors custom application suite and platforms.
  • Design and implement on-platform, automated reports and dashboards related to the Sponsors custom application suite and platforms.

Required Skills
  • Demonstrated experience using web development technologies, specifically JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow, or advanced experience with software development or experience with low-code development platforms and the aptitude to develop ServiceNow experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process analysis including evaluating customer need, internal processes, document business process models, and translating these models as functional technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems evaluation such as identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement such as analyzing functions, requirements, or existing capabilities and shortfalls.
  • Demonstrated experience with program management and project task management, and customer relations and outreach.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT and systems lifecycle management, including managing review boards, and change & release management.
  • Demonstrated experience with knowledge management, including developing feature release descriptions, and technical artifacts related to development under this request.

Desired Skills (Optional)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or completion of requisite ServiceNow training for the certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow application suites (e.g. IT Service Management, IT Business Management), developing Dashboards on ServiceNow, and using ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience using ServiceNow project management applications.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor's IT service providers.
  • Demonstrated experience advising Sponsor personnel on processes, practices and policies that directly impact the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud architecture, including expertise beyond Sponsor's legacy cloud environments.
