The Human Resources Manager will run the daily HR functions including administering pay, benefits, and leave as well as communicating company policies and practices. The HR Manager will also work closely with senior leadership and is essential in maintaining good working relationships with all employees.
Essential Functions
- Guide managers in human resource aspects and employee relations
- Process and administer payroll for the business unit
- Assist the Recruiting department efforts, including orientation and training programs
- Manage job postings, offer letters and preemployment screening
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by hearing and resolving employee issues, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
- Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
- Handle confidential matters with discretion
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- HR Certification preferred
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
- Familiarity with HR software, such as ADP Workforce Now and working knowledge of Office 365
