Copper River Cyber Solutions is seeking a Junior Program Manager to join our team in support of a new contract at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This position will be performed remotely with the occasional need for an onsite meeting in the Washington D.C. area.
The Junior Program Manager is responsible for managing resources, schedules, financials and adhering to quality and control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

Position Pay Range
$115,000-$150,000 USD

The Junior Program Manager is responsible for managing resources, schedules, financials and adhering to quality and control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provide ZSCALER program management
- Work with Senior Executives (corporate and government) to foster open communication and ensure customer and company success
- Mentor and coach staff, resolve conflicts and ensure our customers are completely satisfied
- Manage Project Team Leads to achieve project objectives
- Cultivate the relationship with the COR(s) and government team leads with the goal of ensuring program related objectives are successfully met
- Manage project budgets to ensure projects achieve projected revenue, cost, and profit targets
- Employ project management best practices and methodologies
- Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with the performance work statement
- Ensure project deliverables reflect the work performed and results are accurately documented as it relates to the company objectives and contracted deliverables
- Participate in internal planning and reporting processes
- Work with Project Team Leads to develop objective performance measurements across all program areas, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation, and goal setting for employees
- Assist with preparing proposal content, writing, and coordinating proposal efforts throughout the solicitation life cycle
- Establish and manage project methodology incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation, and reporting which supports the needs of the projects and emphasizes risk management and timely project delivery
- Ensure project management standards are followed by performing regular project assessments
- Gather project data for regular project assessments and monthly program reviews
- Participate in special projects as required by contributing and managing internal organization initiatives
Essential Job Requirements:
- Clearance:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or prior, relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Current PMP or PMI certification
- Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Experience using Zscaler
- Experience creating delivering training on process improvements, specifically in the context of the Zscaler
- Experience managing all levels of technical professionals
- Experience managing contract financials and contract management
- Proven Project Portfolio, Program and Project Manager experience and sound understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
- Proven experience in providing service, effectively interacting and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, and assertiveness
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior management from customer/partner companies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
- Must have understanding and relevant familiarity of latest technology trends
- Must be able to understand multi-level customer/user expectations and concerns
- Ability to start and manage priorities judiciously
