The selected applicant will provide technical support and facilitate formal training events for communications-electronics equipment, systems, subsystems, and ancillaries in fixed/mobile communications platforms for the Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other government agencies. This position requires knowledge of specialized communications platforms such as RIS and FOSOV.
This position requires travel, both CONUS and OCONUS, including deployment to locations designated as Hazardous Duty by the US Department of State. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Hazardous Duty areas and meet/maintain training and "Fit for Duty" requirements (specific health and physical requirements) as specified by the contracts(s) and applicable US Government directives (i.e. CENTCOM Mod 11).
This position is located at Ft. Campbell, KY. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Ft. Campbell, KY, or surrounding areas.
Required Skills and Education
High school diploma and at least six years related experience
Ability and willingness to serve as an instructor and facilitate both ad hoc and formal training events
Knowledge of the RIS communications package
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%, possibly more, to both CONUS and OCONUS locations
Ability to meet and maintain the certifications/qualifications for deployment travel to Hazardous Duty locations
US military electronics training/experience
Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience using communications-electronics test equipment

Experience with US Special Operations Forces Tactical Radio (SATCOM, LOS, HF and SHF) operations/maintenance
Experience with RIS, FOSOV, SDN, TACLAN, and other SOF communications packages
Experience facilitating course instruction and curriculum development
COMSEC equipment operations/maintenance
Valid US tourist passport
VOIP and IP networking experience
