Tech Services Packaging Engineer

SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative packaging solutions.
• Research new materials, technologies, and packaging trends to drive the development of cutting-edge solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs meet performance, cost, and sustainability criteria.
• Create prototypes of packaging designs and conduct testing to ensure they meet operational needs and customer expectations.
• Analyze test results and iterate on designs to optimize performance and functionality.
• Support the execution of the commercialization process, along with other tech. services team members.
• Manage multiple packaging development projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility and scalability of packaging solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and user guides for packaging solutions.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to improve packaging designs and processes continuously.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrable experience
• 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct exposure to food or dietary supplement processing.
• Demonstrated team-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
