RN Unit Manager

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on assigned unit.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Assess resident care needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care provided to residents.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure high standards of care.
• Handle administrative tasks related to nursing unit operations.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania with no disciplinary actions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong clinical assessment and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
