About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Estxwayusem Finance Department, reporting directly to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in assisting our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to steer the direction the Nation takes by using their financial and commercial judgment to support strategic and business opportunities and execute our strategic action plan to meet Squamish Nation's objectives. The Financial Analyst is responsible for leveraging financial data and acumen to deliver strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. They will support the FP&A Manager by providing the reports and preliminary documentation to enable Departmental Directors to operate with the financial fluency and make proactive decisions that improve the well-being of our community members. This position will work closely with the FP&A Manager to bridge the gap between Finance and operations. The incumbent is a big-picture thinker who can identify trends in financial data and correlate the impact to Squamish Nation's Management team. They are someone who believes in delivering exceptional quality work/service and will not accept anything but the best for our community. For this role, a financial designation and proven financial planning and analysis experience is required.

Salary: $ 76,499 - $ 85,634 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
