Assistant Director of Admission-Slate Captain

The assistant director of admission - Slate Captain will assume a critical role within the admission office and will serve as the primary manager of the CRM, Slate. Reporting to the assistant headmaster, the Slate captain will collaborate closely with the associate director of enrollment and director of admission and tuition assistance. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in database management and is well-versed in enrollment CRM systems. Preferred qualifications include at least three years of experience with CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Slate) or a strong background in computer science or related fields.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Slate CRM Expertise and Training

• Act as the primary Slate CRM expert for the Office of Admission and Tuition Assistance.
• Provide training to counselors and support staff to enhance their work with Slate.

Feature Updates and Workflow Enhancements

• Implement feature updates to improve the end-user experience and support efficient workflows.
• Oversee the development, testing, and release of updates, collaborating closely with the Woodberry Forest team.

Form and Process Management

• Design, build, update, and maintain all Slate-based forms and application decision processes.
• Manage elements such as checklists, reader bins and forms, document uploads/storage, and admission and scholarship letters.

Communication Plans

• Develop, document, and manage communication plans within Slate, including email, text, and print on demand.

Annual Cycle Preparation

• Complete all annual cycle preparation work based on required deadlines and admission timelines.

Knowledge Maintenance

• Stay up-to-date with Technolutions Slate CRM features, tools, and optimization opportunities through ongoing training.

Reporting and Data Management

• Generate and deliver reports on enrollment data and other strategic efforts.
• Monitor and ensure data integrity within Slate, resolving any data issues to ensure accurate and timely communication and process completion.

Event and Recruitment Management

• Create, maintain, and manage event portals, recruitment planning, scholarship processes, queries, dashboards, and other Slate tools to support recruitment and yield initiatives.

The Slate Captain is a versatile position dependent on the successful applicant's qualifications and preferences balanced with the needs of the School. The following work arrangements will be considered: 1) Campus housed with student responsibilities, 2) Locally housed with on-site expectations, or 3) Fully remote with periodic campus visits.
