Position Description

Directs, plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of a specialized unit or small department; develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Serves as liaison with university personnel and community at large. Works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and regulations
  • Technical experience with revenue cycle management solution software
  • Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team to attain goals and objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, highly analytical, possess strong problem-solving skills and must have a desire to be accountable for project success.
  • Detailed knowledge of general phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methods
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team
  • Must be able to work at various locations when necessary along with working various shifts


This is a Hybrid Remote worker position, weekly onsite work is expected.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic systems
  • Healthcare experience


Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in related area required; Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Experience: Five years progressively responsible management experience.
