Anticipated Vacancy: Director of District Facilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NJ Certification to include the following: Facilities Manager license from DOE, NJ Fire Official license, Integrated Pest Management certificate, Asbestos Management certification.
• Must hold boiler and other licenses to operate an educational facility.
• Expert understanding and experience in the maintenance of public school district facilities management and local and state regulations of facility and safety/security compliance.
• Experience in the process of permit applications and proper adherence.
• Knowledge of schematic reading and analysis.
• Knowledge of building referendum construction projects to include budget.
• Experience in bidding processes, adherence to regulations with vendors, and oursourced partners.
• Previous supervisory experience managing direct reports, scheduling, employee evaluation, etc. is strongly recommended.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

SALARY: Salary to be established by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools.
